I have heard that all true knitters have more than one project at a time and that one HAS to be a sock. I guess I am a true knitter. Just like potato chips, can't have just one. I spin too.

Amen to the "more than one project going at once". I have been trying to finish all my half finished projects. I am knitting two socks out of some multi colored twisted eyelash (twisted around some soft ivory yarn), I wont have enough to finish them both with the ball I started with and the yarn has been discontinued so the toes to both socks will be some ivory sparkle lucious yarn. These should be some interesting soft warm socks when I get finished.

I love that there's a knitting thread!

right now I'm working on a pair of socks -- almost done with the second of the pair, just 1" of ribbing to go. it's been pretty hot the past few days so the idea of snuggling up with wool yarn is not very appealing.

so, I'm also knitting a market bag out of cotton yarn. it's the KnitPicks market bag... forget the name... but the one they put out that goes with their new natural-colored cotton yarns. lots of fun

I have a sweater or two in hibernation waiting for the fall, and am planning my next pair of socks when I'm done with the current ones. I knit on the bus to/from work

usually, if I've got more than one project going, it's cause I'm too lazy to weave in the loose ends or sew something together

Knitting is something I've been trying to learn. I see people click-click-click away and just can't figure out how they can do it. I can knit, but I took me the better part of four hours to make a pot holder.
