That's what I'm seeing also.

What a cute stuffie!! I'm barreling along on the socks. I'm to the toe on the first sock and just finished the gusset of the second. Next up is a pair of socks for DH from some of my grey & white hand spun yarn. He's been very patiently waiting for these

I started spinning this year & just love it. I am only on drop spindles now but think a wheel is in my future. I was just approved by a breeder to take home one of her English Angora bunnies. He is BLUE!!!!! Like, really, really blue. I am so excited, when I was born my grandmother gave me a blue bunny stuffed animal. He came with me to college and beyond. I gave him to a friend's daughter in a moment of weakness. But, now I get a hopping version and I CAN'T WAIT! October 12th he is old enough to come home to his new mama.

I've had rabbits in the past and always wanted Angoras. I had no idea they came in BLUE until I saw my little guy.

That stuffed animal is cute!! I was just thinking of trying to knit some stuffed animals, so thanks for the book recommendation.
As for the angora bunnies, I wish I could find a local blue-eyed white breeder.

Joan did you get rid of all your birds? I got six parakeets off you. I know you said you were getting rid of them because you were moving.

Angora rabbits was my one and only venture into a fiber animal. I had German Angoras that were a champagne agouti..... then I found out I was very allergic to angora fiber

Not just the itchies, but difficulty in breathing also. I found it so odd because we used to raise meat rabbits and I wasn't allergic to those rabbits.

Blue is my weakness! I used to rais blue (and lavender) slate turkeys and love my blue americauna hen. The blue & white muscovies are my favorites

Hi yes, I did. I sold them to Mary. I've been birdless for about two or three weeks now.

I'm a sucker for anything blue, esp. animals. I just love the color and how there's a spectrum of it. The dark blues are my fave

..do you have a pic of your blue bunny?

So, lasy year I started knitting; So I'm partially new to it. I've mainly been knitting scarves.

Okay, scarves are the only things I've been knitting. So, I'm going to take a biiiiiig leap here....

I'd like to knit either a hat for Winter, or some gloves.

What would you guys suggest I do? And does anybody know where I can get a pattern for a hat? Or am I perhaps, a little too inexperianced?

As long as you know the knit and purl stitches, you can easily figure out the K2tog (knit 2 together) for the decreases of a hat.

Are you a member of Ravelry ? Thousands and thousands of patterns there that you can filter down to exactly what you want. For example, I put in 'hat' in the search box and filtered by
adult size
has a photo
knitting
free
worsted weight yarn
easy

and came up with 361 matches

Here's the easiest one I could find, but there are 360 others that might interest you more.

YOU CAN DO IT!!

I don't know how to purl yet but I can just ask my Mom since she is practically an expert.

I'll make sure to try it as soon as I can get some material.

My knitting needles are on hold as I am finishing another project with the most exquisite alpaca fiber. Alpaca is just about the warmest fiber (and strongest) around. I am just finishing the last touches of a quilt filled with this fiber....it will never be machine washable but I am going to put it in a coverlet until I can find the time to make a patchwork quilt for it. Until then, I plan to have some comfy sleep time with my quilt. Now to make sure my teen-age daughter doesn't take off with...if it ends up in her room, I may never find it again.
