Nope, avoided all those 'trapping' latches after learning about them in less dire circumstances...but....
....I got locked out of my coop shed once. Door slammed shut by the wind bouncing a hook over an eye inside, luckily was able to kick it loose.

Great to meet you, you may not know it but, you are one of my favorite folks on BYC. I always make sure to read all of your posts. BTW I have white hair too but, mine is now past shoulder length. Too lazy to cut it.
