Umm, is something scary going to be chasing us?

I'm proudly from the South---Southern Oregon

I visited my sister in Fayetteville (Arkansas) in 2013. I called the drive home The Great Turtle Massacre, it was horrible the way those little things got run down. Course, I came home with leukemia, so that wasn't the bestest trip ever...
So sorry about your Leukemia, hope you are doing ok.

Have you ever noticed that those who are running DON'T look at all happy???

Not sure that I am always happy when I run, but I sure am happy that my waist is back to what it was in high school. (That would be 60 years ago.) Momma always said, "There's nothing wrong with getting old, but acting old is a sin." That old adage of 'use it or lose it' is fact not fiction. I will continue to do things the hard way so that I CAN do them.

Good for you, that's great sourland! I figure attitude counts for a lot as far as acting old too. I've known young people with gloomy, negative outlooks that seemed to be in worse shape for handling life's adversities than older folks with a good attitude & sense of humor...they never seem to age. I hope to be in that second group

You all are welcome to stop by and see the sights in Wisconsin on your way around Arkansas. Our small town just got a mini-golf course also! Time it for a Friday so we can go for a famous Wisconsin Friday Night Fish-Fry. We can take a boat ride on the bay - Green Bay that is - our boat is not big enough to tackle Lake Michigan. Maybe the local yacht factory will let us borrow their new 60 foot yacht for a spin. We can tour the fall colors in October, cross-country ski or snowmobile in winter, check out the cherry blossoms in Door County in the spring or take the ATV trails through the woods in the summer. There is a meat market in the big town that makes an incredible fresh polska kielbasa, tripp, german bratwurst and some of the best beef steaks I have had in a long time.

@NorthFLChick I enjoyed your interview, nice to get to know you a little better.
