Awe, so sweet x2. Love Dudley
Nice interview. Catching up here.
Love your photos! I always have to say, wish I had more land. Ducks..would love to have ducks.
Nice to see more of someone I visit with on here. You're a fun one for sure.
Awww thanks Cynthia!
My ducks are a year old today and tomorrow! You should get some too.
Very nice flock. Your property is beautiful as is your cabin. Dudley is a handsome boy, too. Nice to get to know you. Wonderful interview
I need to add some pics of my newest coop since this interview. And lots of new chicks.
Please do! I'd like to see them.
So glad that hatching season is back! I've done a few batches in the past few months.
Ducklings, Golden Sebrights, Old English Game Bantams, Silkie/Cochin mixes. And 2 sets of quail! That was fun.
So I thought I'd add some pics.
Here's the new double coop/run we built last October/November
Storage, feed access, and egg collection inside the building between 2 separate coops and runs.
Lavender Orptingtons on the left, Comets on the right.
Automatic door on the Comet run, so they can free-range during daylight hours.
They access the feeding area by going under the walls, we access it from inside the building.
Also lost my "Big Guy" dark brahma rooster, just disappeared, assumed predator.
RIP Big Guy
But his replacement, a light brahma named Moonshine, has taken over the reins.
Some random pics.
New coop/run behind my workshop at home
Golden Sebright cockerel "Lieutenant"
Clara, my Silver Duckwing OEGB
Quail egg candling
Armand and Katherine - bantam cochins
Black split Lavender Orpington
Golden comets, love to come inside and eat out of Dudley's bowl
Silver Duckwing OEGB cockerel "Darryl". He has a brother Darryl that looks just like him!
Ducks in the snow
Juice, Chibs, Opie, and Tiggy
Wow, WV, don't know where to start...amazing assortment of birds. The Sebrights are gorgeous, those Lavender Orps, Darryl, Darryl, Clara all great. And of course Opie is adorable! Good job on the split coop/run set up, I like that idea.
Thanks so much for sharing the pictures, there great!
Do it Natalie. Do it.
Wow and very Squeeeeeee, Natalie. Why are they so round? And puff plump? I am in love.
