BYC members in Massachusetts?

Hi everyone, I'm not in MA, but I'm right next door in RI. I'm wanting to order chicks and have them here early March, but in order to make that happen i need to order at least 15. I don't want that many, I only want 5. Does anyone want to go in on an order with me?

Try your local Agway. Ask them if they order chicks, when they arrive, etc. I purchased 4 from my local one last spring. If they don't order chicks, try mypetchicken.com. They only have a minimum of three (five for bantams).

Best of luck!

also big show in West Springfield will be here. I took my kids last WInter and they were wowed. MANY MANY birds of good quality and support people to some extent for those wanting a tour or to sit in a on a lecture.

I haven't looked up the date exactly. OR did I miss it already?? Jan or FEb.

I just wanted to thank you a ton for letting me know of this show! I wouldn't have known it was going on. I went and it was a blast, we even brought home a new cochin. Thanks a ton! :)

Newbie here from the North Shore! Happy to find this group! Does anyone know of a good source of orpington eggs to hatch? I'd love to have some chocolate or laced and other unusual varieties but would prefer to find them more local. The few I have found are a long distance for shipping.
