Looks like you need a permit for ANY poultry, but you could have a rooster with a permit.

Wow! Lots of new MA members!
I guess in spring with all the new chickie babies we get more members. Hi All and welcome, lots of good info here.
@SaMable Those do look like cockerels....look at those thick legs! Hope you can keep at least one. I have one French Black Copper Maran and she is a big girl and lays the biggest dark chocolate brown eggs about 4 days a week.

I didn't know the co-op carried chicks, though I'm not often over that way. Great price for 2 week olds. Too bad I don't like red or barred birds.
