Another idea for a poll below.

What kind of roost(s) do you have installed?

• Branch(es)
• Contruction wood like 2x4” from the shop
• Processed wood with rounded corners
• A wide bar
• None
• Other

Multiple answers are possible and please tell us if you did anything to prevent foot or mite problems /show us you’re roost with a picture.

Just curious what solutions people have to give the chickens a comfortable place to sleep and avoid problems like bumble foot or red mites on the birds.

How about :
Where do you’re chickens take a dust bath? Do the chickens have access to a dry spot to take a dusth bath when its rainy weather? Do you give/buy them a special type of sand or do you mix something in it? What is the location of their favourite spot?

Just a few ideas to choose from:
- they take baths on the sand/dirt floor in coop or run
- they take baths in a large pot or bowl with sand in a dry spot
- they make their own dust bath where-ever they like
- they always have acces to a dry area to take a dust bath
- they have no possibility to take a dust bath on rainy days
- they don’t / can’t take dust baths
- they make me mad digging holes in my garden

How fast is you’re chicken math!
You start with the number you intended to have at the start of the first year.

- Doubled in 1 year
- Doubled in 2 years
- Doubled in 3 years
- Doubled in 4 years
- Tripled in 1 year
- Tripled in 2 years
- Tripled in 3 years
- Tripled in 4 years
- Multiplying slower (no chicken math)
- Multiplying faster (insane)
