BYC Personal Pages Upgrade

Anything cleared up with using Safari on a Mac to make a personal page? I've been trying the last couple weeks, and can't get it to work either. Mine also gives the 'not supported' message. perhpas we just have an incompatible version of Safari. i may go to the library to create mine....

Unfortunately no. I suggest you try another PC or download one of the other free browsers that will work with the page builder.

We've always got things we're working on to improve the site and the forum but have to prioritize everything based on resources available.

Ok, switching to a different computer with a different browser -did- make the difference. I can publish stuff to my personal page now.

Have another question: What is a 'custom page'. My user name is showing up at the top of the 'custom page' list in addition to the other two lists. It doesn't seem like it should be there, should it?

That is the correct way it is suppose to be listed. The middle column is the most recent updated "main page" and the right column is the most recent updated of any page. You just happen to be both right now.

Nifty, how do I get my page to post from microsoft word and it not be so wide and off center? Guess I need to walk a way for a bit but dang it I sure was wanting to get my breed pages fixed. Thanks and if anybody else can help me that would be great!

I'm not sure, but there is an option to paste from MS Word in the toolbar. Look for the clipboard with a "W" on it. If you click that button then copy from Word to the text area it should work.

That will close the insert window and go back to the edit page and your picture should so up. It takes some time to figure out placements of picture but when you play with it for a while you get the hang of it.

How come I cannot add html code and have it show up correctly? I wanted to put a dynamic flickr badge (http://www.flickr.com/badge.gne) showing my chicken photos on my page and it's not letting me. This is the text I'd like to place:
