you might think i am crazy or get tired of me!
thanks again nifty-chicken!

Hi! um... I cannot seem to be able to create a page. I have messed around with it for a long time. I watched the demo's and followed it carefully. Every time I type something or put a picture on it, I will go to publish changes and nothing will be there. Hum. I'm not that bad with computers. But I do have a mac. Is it not compatible?

So also, when I try and insert an image... I cut and paste the photobucket URL, and I can preview it and everything- then I press insert and it isn't there. I can post pic on the forum fine. I dunno. I would like to have a page to show off my chickens, family and home.

What browser are you using? We have several members that are using Mac's so I don't think that is your problem.

Your page is blank, so I'm not sure what the problem could be. Do you get any error messages or anything?

It looks like other members are still editing their pages successfully, so I doubt it is system wide problem.

Hi Nifty. I am using Safari. No error messages, but when I click on edit your page it tells me that site isn't supported my Safari so enter at you own risk or whatever. I just don't know what it is...

That's pretty odd. I'm not at all familiar with Safari, but I believe other members have successfully used it to create their pages for BYC. Maybe someone with more Safari experience can help you.

Well, Nifty has set up the page editing tool pretty easy for non-technical folks. If you read his instruction page I suspect you will find it less intimidating than you believe.

Regardelss, adding a photo to a post is easy. There is a button above the editor that is titled IMG. Just click that. It will place two tags into the editor. You just add the reference to the image like this:

[ img ] image reference here [ / img ]

Now, you ask, what's the image reference? Read here:
