yes i have photobucket, so i just place the code in the space like i do my other post?

Once you've got the images in photobucket you copy the image url, usually looks like this:

https://www.backyardchickens.com/images/BYC-chicken.gif

And then follow the insturctions on the demo listed on the bottom of this page:
https://www.backyardchickens.com/web/viewblog.php?id=2-Personal_Pages

How to add pictures to the "Personal Pages":

1) Upload your images to a service like PhotoBucket
2) Copy the image URL for the image (something like https://www.backyardchickens.com/images/BYC-chicken.gif )
3) Within the BYC editor click on the "Insert Image" icon

4) Paste the image URL in the field called "Image URL"
5) Add a description and Title then click "Insert"

That should do it.

i went back to edit, it does not bring up the the little tree to add photos thing.

so i deleted all the stuff and tried to start over, all the little icons at the top were gone.

i don't mean to sound computer "dumb" i know a enough to get around on one , etc.

but this is giving me a hard time. should i just give up or is this able to be fixed?

Sorry wendy, I'm stumped. Unless other members can duplicate the problem I'm afraid it may be related to your computer / browser?

Did you watch the demo video and follow it exactly?

Maybe start from scratch and create a new page?

i watched the demo video. i went back and deleted everything again, it won't come up looking like the video. it did the first time but then i added my little story and published. thought i would go back and add pictures later. that obiviously did not work. i even deleted what i did write to try and start over like i said. the only thing there is a gray screen with a vertical line down the middle and at the bottom is publish changes button. but nothing, i guess i have to give up.

I found that if I clicked the "Publish Changes" at the bottom of the page then exited the whole Member Pages and went back into it I was able to get everything working again. Buttons to show up pop-up and photos reloaded.

Are you posting your photos using the "Direct Link" url?

The second line under your Photobucket photos.....
