I go though the nominations regularly throughout the quarter to check for nominees who already have the badge nominated for, duplicates by the same person for the same person, etc. At the end of the quarter, (ok the day or 2 after it ends) I go through again, check each nominee for qualification (yes, I check each and every member...their posts, profile, behavior, moderation issues, if any, and so forth). If one member is nominated for more than one unique award, I will determine which best fits. Then I present a shortlist to the moderators and we discuss. Only when we agree, will I post them and award the badges.
