I will buy some too if I see them at the family dollar!

If you are talking about the little jars, I found them at the local grocery store yesterday. They came in a package of 8 for under 5.00.

Didn't see anything but the big ones at Family Dollar so I'll try Foodlion, thanks for the tip Vert!!!

That's a cut doll. Saturday I bought material to start a quilt for my son to replace one he had given to him as a teen ager and it's wore out. He says he misses his security blanket.

It is a basic log cabin pattern using a red center and the other colors are light creams to dark browns. I know he won't get it this Christmas but I might make his birthday. Hope everyone is having a good holiday. It's quiet here for us old folks. Everyone took off for the mountains or the coast.

That's sweet Austin!! In the cedar chest I have a "woobie" that was my daughter's and it is thread bare from years of loving and a white monkey that my son carried around when he was a baby, one day when they are settled into families of their own I will pass them back to them. I hope these quilts I am making for them this christmas become keepsakes/security blankets for them too, they are pretty sentimental about tings and that's good so we'll see. Good luck with yours

I saved each one of my childrens outfits that they wore home from the hospital and just recently gave them to each one. I have an embroidered pajama bag my mother made me when I was a baby. In England, back then, a pajama bag was made like a pillow case and a child placed their pajamas or nightgown in one and it was placed on top of the bed as a decoration and a way of putting your pajamas away. It is 70 years old now and it is aged looking like me but it's the only thing I have left that my mother made for me to remeber her by. Two of my grandsons still have their baby quilt I made for them. One of them is 25 years old. My time flies.

Have a good day everyone....I'm off to work.

I love those little cupcake style pincushions. One of these days I'll find a free pattern and make one. I'd like to put my different pin types in different pincushions.

I love that pj idea, very sweet, when I have grandkids...many moons from now I hope!! I'll make them one...and baby quilts...and crocheted blankets...and onesies with applique and diaper covers and shopping cart covers and whatever else I can think of!!.....that is part of my retirement thinking in ten years, haha!! They are 19 and 21 now and in college so no babies for several years but it'll be fun for me when it happens. So many cute baby things to make!
