I wish I did but my camera at the time took such lousy pictures. Most of them were half square triangles. But everything was done with ragged edge (to cover up my mistakes, lol) The outer border was made from the some fabric called "Loralie-On the mend" that had pictures of women with cancer. Some with turbans, scarves, some just bald.

This is similar but not the exact stuff that I used-- http://cgi.ebay.com/LORALIE-ON-THE-MEND-BREAST-CANCER-Fabric-Squares-Panel_W0QQitemZ300398235859QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item45f12150d3

Cried
yesterday as I found out that she has moved back to San Fran to be with her mom who is sick with lung cancer. She is such a great surgeon!

Acre, I am trying my best too get done. I have had a silkie, I have had too put down, a friend hatched some babies (21 of them) and 8 of them were silkies and they were all spraddled leg so I have had too make boots and fix their legs and have too give them water several times a day. And I have had one friend that broke her wrist, and one lady I have had too dress her leg this week because home health was so far behind and then had a friend 44 years old that passed away this past week so I am getting behind. I just hope I am getting them right. I know I was getting everything right when I didn't have all the distractions. So I hope tomorrow evening I can start back with quietness and get my brain back too work and my machine working right. It has been just hanging up. It starts and sounds like it hits metal and then just sits in one place and builds up a pile of thread and I have too take it all apart and check the bobbin and put a new needle in. I could use some prayers and hugs right now.

(((((((Mema sounds like you need multiple hugs!!)))))))))

On your machine, try taking out the bobbin case and check up under the feed dogs to see if you have some fuzz build-up that needs to be removed. Sometimes it can build up just like felt and can stop your machine and break needles.

I never knew there were so many quilters on BYC!! I haven't quilted for about 5 yrs. Used to do a lot of it when my kids were younger though. I have to get back into it lol.
You guys are making me wanna sew something

My dd's bday is in Sept and she is a teenager so I wanna make her something a teenager would like. Her last quilt I made her is sort of babyish now. If I start now, maybe it will be done in time LOL! I am thinking of doing a Virgo Quilt since that is her zodiac sign with colors of greens, bieges, and blues. Maybe batik fabrics in there too. I want it to be dreamy-like with a maiden and a black unicorn and the Virgo star symbols. I went and looked at some material a few days ago. I might have to get some online if I can't find what I need locally.
