Hi,
I have a question about quilting frames. What kind do you use?
The Rev. is getting ready to build me some, and I've been looking at different designs, and I just don't know. My mom and grandmother had just 1X2's, with some clamps...and they raised an lowered them...considering my space limitation...this may be my only option. However, I'm interested in any ideas.
 
I decided to pull out my pleater and have a go at Smocking...

I only did a small piece of fabric, and the picture its kind hard to see the pleats, but it turned out not too shabby at all. I used a scrap piece of fabric left overs, so its got a print on it not plain as would look better I think.

I have never quilted before but it looks wonderful. a great creative outlet. for someone who has never done it before, is it hard to learn or get started?
