I am going to set down, & go thru this page carefully...all the lovely quilts I have missed!! Wow!

It hasn't been as active as it used to be. We had several quilt block swaps going for a while. Like Hot2Pot I've been busy with chickens. Just hatched 9 out of 9 eggs in the incubator and was worried for a while that the power outages would affect the hatch but I just packed the incubator in towels and it must have kept the heat up as they hatched fine.

I'm working on finishing a quilt for one of my daughters for Christmas. It's queen size and all I have left is to quilt around the hearts appliqued in each corner and bind it. Then I am starting one for one of my granddaughters, another queen size. I also have two queen size for me that I hand pieced and will hand quilt which I'll start the quilting as soon as I can set up my frame. I'm decorating for Christmas right now. Busy! busy! busy!

I am currently working on a quilted handbag that has the cutest chicken fabric on it. I will try to post a pic later today.

They make it in all kinds of fun colors and patterns now, b/c of all the prom dress contests.

I didn't know anything about all that until my niece wanted to make a prom dress out of duct tape.

I'm almost finished with my daughters Christmas present. I sewed the binding on the quilt today and just have to turn the binding and sew it down then make the label. Yeah! I'll have it to her for Christmas. I've cut out another log cabin quilt for one of my granddaughters, sister to the one I gave a log cabin quilt to for her wedding present. This one is in yellos and greens. It will be another queen size. Hope to put my quilt in the quilting frame soon. I'll hand quilt it since I hand pieced it.

Is everyone ready for Christmas?
