Cool - I like the painting on the walls!

I need a nice table I think. I have a small craft table for my sewing machine. A round dinning table

I have my Serger on. I also have a chest of drawers, a roll top desk, my son's school/homework desk and a big old closet.
I have some plastic storage totes, some plastic storage drawers - those are filled with sewing stuff, the old closet is filled with yarn to the BRIM. and I still have stuff stuffed in boxes under the table.

Just remember that boxes and baskets are a sewers best friend.

I also have a cedar cabinet that I hang my fabric on hangers in. Keeps it from getting wrinkled.

In the future I would like to see some shelving on the walls from one side to the other.

I was thinking seriously of putting some towel rails up - and hanging fabric from those...

I also thought of trying to attach vases or glasses to the wall to put all my knitting needles and crochet hooks - but that might look cheesy.

there is another closet in my room, the built in one, but its filled with suitcases and all our halloween get-up!

I would love to find another spot for all that, then have that closet... Hmmmmmmmmmmm
I have one of those things you hook over a closet rail, and it has a bunch of little boxes that hang down (I had it for my son when he was younger, and I'd put a day's clothing in each box)
That would be neat I think for nice fabric.... or even yarn.

I don't think the cups would look cheesy. Just attach them to a long thin board and then attach it to the wall either horizontally or vertically. Just put it close and in reach.

Also the hanging box that was used for clothing is a great idea for fabrics. YOu can put solids in one, floral in another, plaid in another and so on.

Also I have a banana box that I fill with all the fabric and batting that I need for a project, that way I am not hunting things down in the middle of the project.

Shoe boxes are a good keeper for threads and they stack easily. You could also attach some small baskets from a thin board for patterns and such.

Now I want to see a pic of your room

I'll see if I can get some pic's in a bit (if I can avoid the clutter parts)

I just scanned a picture from when I was like 5 or 6 years old... LOL gonna start a new thread cause its cute even if I say so myself.
