I said to my hubby I'll never make another one, it was super difficult to handle it with the plastic canvass inside to keep it firm, some of the binding had to be hand sewn.

now I need to make the label forn it, any suggestions?

the problem is, Katie''s favorite saying is:

"I love you as big as the stars"

This si what I want the label to say:

blocks made by BYC bom swaps
assembled and hand quilted with love by:
Grandma Barbara Brown
I love you as big as the stars

that is to big to embroider on the quilt, much easier to make a label.
Years ago the frabric stores sold frabric by the yard that was all quilt labels, I can't find it any where.

May I enter the club? I am wanting to start a new hobby for 2010 and figured quilting.

I don't have anything (This house doesn't even have a pair of scissors except for the kitchen scissors). I need advice on what sewing machines are good for beginners (I'm on a teenagers budget

) and how much does a quilt cost to make? I am still researching. I like the make a 6" square, sew a bunch together to make a row, do a bunch or rows to make a quilt idea, simple and to the point lol. Thanks
