Hi Everyone!

I have a question about the theme. I know it is "Spring On The Farm" but I am having a hard time finding material that has a farm themed pattern that isn't too large. KWIM?

I can find lots of flowery patterns that would look great with the pattern I have chosen, but the larger patterned stuff some of the triangles will end up looking kind of weird. (Maybe the side of a horse with no head or tale. LOL)

Am I being too (ahem) picky? Is my OCD showing?

Are all of the blocks supposed to be the same? If I have enough of one fabric to make half and then use some other to make the other half is that okay?

Though, I like the idea of all of us ending up with the same blocks at the end of the swap!

The general idea is to make all the blocks the same, but it's up to the individual making them.

As far as the theme. Whatever says Spring on the Farm to you. Flowers are spring on the farm, fruit, veggies, birds, baby animals.....I know alot of the "scenic" fabrics are large print, but usually you can find some 'all over' prints too. Just do your best and whatever says Spring on the Farm. No snow, fall leaves, etc....lol

Thank you! I'm excited about it. Ever since I picked making the quilt blocks up, I've wanted to make more! I love doing it! It's lots of fun and very relaxing on my part.
