Yes, for applique, please use have the edges turned under. Using the iron stuff and zig zag or satin stitch, eventually it does start to fray and come apart with many washings.

Sign ups closed.

Welcome everyone. This is going to be such fun!!!

I will send out an email soon with my mailing address so you can mail your blocks whenever you are ready.

If all blocks arrive early, I will swap them early. No pressure, just so everyone knows.

So that means 22 blocks ! OH my ! I better get busy !
My block will have to be a fairly easy strip pieced block and I haven't found a 12 in one yet but I will keep looking.

Yes, 22 blocks. Don't sweat over the difficulty of your block pattern you do. Even a basic 9 patch is fine....this is for fun, not for stress lol.

Well... I was going to do the Margaret's Choice block, but after I saw that 2 people were going to do Annie's choice (which is identical, just the colors are arranged differently) I've spent two days trying to figure out a new one. I think I've finally figured it out! LOL! Hopefully I can get started on them this evening.

Thanks so much for taking the time to put this together Amy. It has become a new found love for me (quilting that is

)! It is so relaxing and so much fun to do. I'm actually doing this swap, the monthly swap, and two quilt blocks of the month from two different stores here locally! My sewing machine is finally getting a good workout other than making Halloween costumes and an occasional dress for my daughter.

Lori, very nice, and good job on color coordination. Those little flower prints look springy to me, and the green reminds of new grass just growing.
