The Tractor Supply Company in Dunnellon has offered to let us hold a swap meet. There is shade, water and restrooms.

UPDATE:
The Swap is on and set for Saturday June 26th. all day starting at 9:00am. TSC wanted to set the date so we set a date. We will be raffling off some feed. We are in the planning stages and will be posting updates as the plans come together.

So far we have a horse rescue and dog rescue confirmed. An Alpaca breeder said she'll be there. We will also have some Lil Donkeys, miniature zebu cattle, and more. Tractor Supply is doing some advertising. Should be a great turnout!!! There will be some corals set up for livestock courtesy of TSC. We are working on having the FFA doing a food fundraiser. For those who like Big Macs there is a McDonalds next door and a Pizza Hut/Wing Street for those who like pizza and /or wings.

I haven't posted what other members are bringing as they are posted in the thread. From the responses we have gotten so far we are going to have a very good turnout. We have had it advertised on Craigslist and Ocala4Sale for nearly two months as well as handing out flyers at TSC. Also we have two grassy areas to set up. One is under shade trees and the other is sunny. I will be setting up in the sunny area with my umbrella and cages. If anyone has an umbrella or canopy please bring them. At the last swap I attended I was lucky to be able to set up in some shade so I lent my umbrella to a BYC member who was in the sun.
Hope to see a lot of BYC peeps. Don't forget to bring a camera...

So far the responses have been very good and it looks like we are gpoing to have a great turnout. We have advertised on Craigslist, Ocala4Sale (for the past two months), in the local paper

If I haven't popped or anything like that, we will try to attend. But the date is pushing it for us, as little Tristan's due date is July 1st.

But I am very happy that they are willing to hold a swap!

If the Tractor Supply Company/BYC Swap meet has a good turnout then maybe we can do a swap at TSC monthly. One very important fact for the summer is that there is shade, water and restrooms. We should get a lot of traffic. Hope to see a good BYC representation. Don't forget to mark your calendars for June 26th at the Dunnellon, Florida Tractor Supply Company for our Swap.

As it looks now a lot of people are planning on attending this swap. We have one grassy area that is shaded and another grassy area in the sun. If you are planning on attending and have any canopies etc., I encourage you to bring them. I will be setting up in the sunny area under my umbrella.
