My wife and I decided to test for targeted ads. We talked about taking a vacation to Europe for a few days to see what would happen - sure enough - ads from cruises, airlines etc - for her on facebook, and for me via email. CREEPS me out.

I thought that post bookmarks were open to regular members, but I checked the permissions, and it looks like they're not. We may open them up to regular members.

I stopped reading the posts on this thread. Another 20 pages from when I quit around midnight last night. Being online no matter what you do, the different sites plant tracking cookies in your computer etc. They know every site you visit and what you are looking at, that includes your cell phones.

Here's a handy tip that can make life much easier sometimes. Let's say your cursor is at the wrong place in your post when you attach an image while editing (image always is attached where your cursor position is). To remove the image, simply press Ctrl-z once. That is the UNDO key sequence.

Please file for future reference. Since you must have a list of our account emails, a batch email sent out in advance of a future major upgrade or other reason we will all be effected (especially if it will require to log in again) would save a lot of frustration for many of your users. In other words, don't act like Microsoft and just go "surprise". That strategy has been fantastic for their competition, BTW.

It's beautiful, but so slow to load I'm not sure it's usable for me. If I click on something, it's moved up the screens because it's still loading. Took about a minute to load a conversation.

Are other sites loading okay for you? Try clearing your browser cache.

thanks for the quick response. I th ik it's just the ads moving everything slowly down the page. I use Kindle so I clear my cache often. I will check. It could just the new site needed to get settled in o n my device. It does look much better.
