We're hoping this will help keep things running fast and also keep us from having to do another expensive upgrade. We had to do quite a few last season, so I doubt it is totally out of the question... but we'd like to postpone it as long as possible.

It is intermittent... maybe a few mins here and there. Usually it is directly related to the number of peeps on the forum, while others it is weird and unexplainable.

The tricky thing is that you have to build up the server for your peak usage. Kinda like a car engine: You need to have an engine that will be able to make you go 110 mph when you need it, even though you only do 110 mph once every 10 years

Same thing with the server. It needs to be beefy enough to handle when we have a ton of peeps online during a Sunday trivia contest even if the other 99% of the week isn't nearly as busy.
