I've heard a lot of similar stories that would be funny if they weren't so infuriating. People can be SO ignorant.

Sounds like you're doing all the right stuff for your uncle--good for you! It's good to hear about family that take care of each other.
Hang in there.

this is good advice..do not let them on the property without a warrant..maybe have his personal vet come out and do a inspection and have them write a report (only if its good of course),it may help him later..be polite but he doesnt have to let them in without a warrant, goggle NAPO...they may be able to help, they have excellent people and advice for people in your uncles shoes..

I'm so sorry, I wish there was something I could contribute other than I'm pulling for you and will be praying it all turns out okay. I had animal control come out to my house once because of a gripey neighbor about my horse. She had lost some weight due to nursing a foal. Nothing bad. Fortunately they understood that everything can't always be perfect. She just said to try deworming her again, since they can become immune to certain dewormers. She was very nice, hopefully your uncle will get someone who isn't an idiot and is understanding like she was.

Now that I thought of it, around here there is legal help for people who are low income. I don't know if your uncle is or not(we are!), but if he is he ought to find out about that. If he looks like he knows his rights it may make them back off.

Where does your Uncle keep his critters, out in the front yard? How are these people seeing these "violations" with out walking up and looking around. First, post NO TRESPASING signs at the entrance to his drive way and on all 4 corners facing away from the property, then one in the middle also in the back property line and both sides. They cant be there if its posted.
I dont know who this ASPCA is or what it stands for but I wouldnt stand for it thats for sure. Sounds like someone is pickin on him.

Good for you! Sounds like he is a real jerk. Maybe he'll get in trouble himself for filing a false report or harassment or something!
