We watched the second chick hatch out last night and it was amazing! My boys got to watch.
6 more eggs. I'll probably check them today when I take the babies out.

That's great! It's pretty magical to watch!

We have a small incubator that we loan out spring and summer to egg customers with kids so they can watch the magic of hatching. Congrats on the hatches!

Easter Hatch feels so far away and today my son let me know that it's "Forever away!"

I had fun with this first (for me) Hatch-A-Long, so I'm definitely doing Easter with Coturnix quails. I have the March 31st set date on my calendar *and* March 12th as the last day to set a previous hatch without conflicting with this one. Because I never want to be tardy again.

I'm only doing a small personal flock batch for easter hatch. I am ordering some new breeds for my May hatch and i am SO excited!!!!!
