My call ducks are laying right now, but I've been taking them away. I don't want any more ducklings through the winter because I already have 40.

Interesting... I have exhibition quality white call ducks and my last egg (soft shelled tho) was August 2.

Well crap. I already have a full incubator so I won't join in this time. Will there be a Christmas hatch-a-long also? What holidays will have official BYC hatch-a-longs? I need to start planning for next time!

If you have eggs hatching this month they count! The next official hatch-along is @ronott1's New Years Day one, then the next one is the Easter one.

Three official hatch-alongs each year:

• Easter
• Halloween
• New Year's Day

BF is very understanding about birds. We all can have that ledge.

I only just saw this. I’m actually putting Roan/Runner eggs in this afternoon (as well as a single turkey) but I’m too late to hatch on Halloween. I suppose I’ll try next year or Easter.

Thanks! This is my first year with pigeons, so I don't know what's going to happen. My plan is to leave it to the pigeon parents.

6 days to go!!!! Today is day 15, so lockdown is on Sunday! I’m soooo excited! 21 out of the original 24 are still in the incubator and we’re moving a lot yesterday when I candled! I have photos on my personal hatch a long. I really hope to get a great hatch rate, plus I have 9 day old chicks coming on Wednesday too! (5 pullets and 4 st. run bantams)

Hoping you get a great hatch rate too!
