BYC's 2022 Spooktacular Halloween Hatch-Along!
Fall on the Farm Photo Contest
Ends on November 30th, 2022​

We want to see your fabulous fall photos! The rules are simple: feature any poultry in your photo. Additional animals are allowed, but the poultry must be the star! No humans, please. This contest runs through November 30, so you can enter both Halloween-themed photos as well as Fall themed photos. If we get enough additional poultry photos, we will have a set of winners for chicken photos and a set of winners for other poultry. Get those geese a' primping and those cameras snapping!

It's easy to enter, just reply to this thread with your fall-themed domestic fowl photos.
To increase your chances of winning, please read the rules before entering.

Rules:

1. All domestic fowl allowed (chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, peafowl, guinea fowl, quail, pheasants, emu, etc).
2. Four entries per member. An entry is one fall/Halloween-themed picture of your domestic fowl.
3. Other animals may be in the photo, but the star(s) of the photo must be your domestic fowl.
4. The picture needs to have been taken by you.
5. You cannot use a photo that won an award in another BYC-sponsored contest.
6. Basic editing such as cropping and other subtle changes are allowed.
7. Images that have been resized might be disqualified if they are too small to judge.
8. Extra consideration for picture quality!
9. No people in the picture (no faces, fingers, hands, arms, etc.).
10. No screenshots, and no watermarks, date stamps, text, etc. on the picture.
11. ALL pictures MUST be uploaded to BYC and not hosted on other image sites, personal websites, etc.
12. Prizes are limited to one per person per contest.
13. Open to all BYC members.
14. All BYC rules apply: Terms of Service (Rules)
15. Entries will be accepted through November 30th at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.

If entries warrant, we will have two categories, landfowl & waterfowl, and prizes for both categories.

Prizes

Place	Prize
First Place	$50 BYC Store Gift Certificate or a 1-year PFM ($60 value) for yourself or a friend.
Second Place	$30 BYC Store Gift Certificate or a 6-month PFM ($35 value) for yourself or a friend.
Third Place	$15 BYC Store Gift Certificate or a 3-month PFM ($20 value) for yourself or a friend.

What breed is this gorgeous chicken?

Uhh,I really wish I knew, but she is a mix of quite a lot of breeds I think.my guess is that she is some sort of silkie mixed with a chicken who lays blue eggs bc she lays blue eggs. I wish I knew her breed so I could help
