All right, my three little babies have a little grippy pad down in there, and I took out the turner, replaced the inner circle cover. Hopefully the humidity stays up enough. It's officially d-3 on the display. We keep having to turn the air conditioner on, and even though it's not in the same room, it just dries out the whole house.

I'm also hand turning the other 14 eggs and keeping an eye on the humidity because the lid is a little bit unseated. Fx everyone is happy as they need to be in there!

Guys, I have a question.

I have three eggs that say d-4 so they are about to go on lockdown. Then I have four more that are about a week behind. And now I got one more from my girl this morning I threw in for the 4th of July hatch.

My plan was to pull the four out and let them share the 2nd incubator with these ten, while the others are on lockdown and hatch. Then put them back into the 1st incubator on their own, so they can finish out and hatch and have their own space for lockdown.

The only problem is I don't really like how this looks when the turner goes. They are turning but it looks like there's some stress being out on the eggs, and I don't want things to crack. WWYD?

Should I unplug the turner and try manually turning things for a few days? If I do that, should I also go ahead and pull out the turner tray so there a little more space for them not to be squished? Or... Is it probably going to be fine?

Last pic is just the three that are going on lockdown.

I would hand-turn just for a day or two as you can put them in a longer lockdown. The most important time for turning is the first two weeks. I've had Day 18 pipping so I always lock down 5 days out as a habit.

Yes, I mean, I have four that are farther out, like maybe a week away from hatching, plus the 10 I just set that are only a few days in, so all of those I'm still turning. The last 3 are in lockdown in a separate incubator, so I'm not turning those. They should hatch any day now...
