BYC's Favorite Gameshow: "Sex My EE Chicks!" Jury Still Out!!!

When they start egging, I want to see which colors you get. We have light green, and mint green, and an olive green with the blue sheen on the inside.
My kids get mad, because I don't need to waste the time dying the eggs at Easter anymore. "But MOMMM.. all the other kids' mom's color the eggs!"

Don't you think the first one carries itself like a roo? With that pompous arrogance? Just look at him size you up, bluey? He's thinking..."Yeah, I can take him."

And the other 2 have that typical hen behavior..."Food? food?"

Although that third one....?

Well, the first one tends to sit around smoking cigars, playing poker with the raccoons and watches Sunday football and doesn't do a lick of work, so I'm thinking male!

I'll try to dig up another comb shot when I get home from work.

Sexing these EE's seems much more difficult than the other breeds.

I have a couple that I have been wondering about. Just noticed the double row comb on one..

The long pointed hackles were just not pronounced enough.. Look real close at the comb and see if you see 2 or 3 rows..
