So who you gonna believe?? The bureaucrats or your own lying eyes???

Btw I was told we have no mountain lions in Mn... after 2 encounters of the close kind at my cabin.. 2 months apart.

Missouri hedges on that one these days, saying there are no "breeding populations" of mountain lions, but there are young males that show up from time to time... but they used to tell us there were none at all, even though people would see them.

We have badgers up here in WY. We've seen 3 of them in our back yard (not at the same time)...I think they were going after the prairie dogs.

When I lived in Kansas, Fish & Game always denied the existence of mountain lions but I know people that saw them.

Sheryl Crow

All I wanna do is have some fun," sang Sheryl Crow once, but it appears her desires have since changed. Now all she wants to do is limit the use of toilet paper to one sheet per visit. https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2007/apr/23/musicnews.music

So first they tell us how to vote and now they want to dictate our hygiene? Stick with your day jobs entertainers!

That Sheryl Crow toilet paper thing was a joke taken out of context several years back... but your point is still valid about entertainers feeling the need to tell everybody else how to live....

But it also brings up the issue we have more and more with "journalism" taking things people say out of context and making "click bait outrage" items out of them.

I read something recently where a comedian's setup to a joke was quoted, but the punchline was omitted ... basically suggesting that the comedian had said something opposite of the joke they were making....

Bottom line is that we must be suspect of any "article" that quotes partial statements... and realize that most online journalism is just out to get a click, nothing more...

.... I'll admit, I still fall for it sometimes.
