Possibly, but years ago we had a peke-a-poo puppy who could have been that puppy's much darker twin. He matured to a very pale, ghostlike silver that greyed to white as he aged. We told people that he was part Lipizzaner - the dressage horses that are born black and turn white as they mature. It was weird!
