At the top of the thread..each page..you will see the title of the thread which has the op 's name.
(on safari it does--not sure about mobile)

That doesn't quite cut it. You have to scroll up to see then remember where you were before scrolling up to see...SMH...I've been opening the first page in another tab.

I get lost myself with having so many pages and tabs open...clicking back n forth.

I did that in the past and ended up getting confused on which I was looking at and posted an apparently non-sense response in a wrong thread ..but maybe most of my responses are non-sense

None new .

But yes, new alerts show up with a yellow back ground, and that disappears after you have clicked and seen the list . A lot easier than counting IMO.

not for all of us ... the yellow dot stays for quite a while after I have looked at several threads, before it clears

I am seeing a yellow rectangular "box" around the new ones, not talking about the dots.
Will get a screen shot , next time I get new alerts.
