I haven't done anything in articles, but I use command c (to copy)and command v. (To paste)

I hadn't tried it in a post, but that does work.
I have wanted to post a link for some of the newbies with questions already answered in the Learning Center or Members Articles - guess next time I'll just copy the URL.

Be careful with links to specific pages that are found within a thread, @sunflour ...they don't always work. The pagination is off. I had a dickens of a time trying to use a link within my own thread....kept taking me to a different page than the one that it has taken me to for years on the old platform. @Nifty-Chicken is aware of it and is investigating, bless his little heart..

Copy the url, then highlight the word you ant linked. Then you can use the link button ( looks like a chain, or paper clip) paste the url in the link window that comes up.

HEY, I didn't know that!! I mean, I'm only partially stupid and I knew how to copy a URL for a link. But I DIDN'T know I could highlight just a word of it...... I always end up using the whole blooming URL unless I've put it in a place I can edit the name, like in my browser's bookmarks. Thanks!!

As far as I can tell, the profile doesn't display likes given. However, mine has incremented as expected when I've received likes.
