Thanks Leeps, I see all the mistakes at least so that should help with the next ones, lol!! I found a more round chicken pattern too so I may alternate and do some of each and put some cute embroidery on them too. At least we have a couple months to get them done

I didn't get back around here yesterday. It was crazy busy around here.

Thanks everyone! We are so eggcited....kind of still in shock that it is real.

Believe me when I say, "Ouch". I can barely move this morning. My arms feel like lead weights.

Snow is coming and most of the outdoor pens had to have new bedding. All the pools were frozen and had to be dumped and filled without cracking them - x 3.

The turkey house was stinky - shovel out the poo and put in fresh straw - about 1/2 of round bale.

2 sheep jugs had to be cleaned and new bedding put in. Ewes have to be kept locked in with their babies because some forget their babies and abandon them. I have had 3 ewes with lambs rotating in and out.

3 rooster pens to shovel out and replace bedding and 2 trio pens to do the same.

We dumped 8 loads for compost but I did all the shoveling while my DH worked on a shelter for the pig who destroyed her house day before yesterday.

It was things that had to be done but had to wait for a warm enough day the water was thawed.

I was just thinking if there were all hens I'd do a rooster.
