I'll hop in on that Spot!! I've been dying to go Fabric shopping, and this is the perfect excuse! 20 houses, 12.5", I keep 1, right?

Have I missed something? I thought we were supposed to send all blocks to Amy and then she would divide and send them back. I assumed that was so she wouldn't have to keep track of who should get(or not get) each block. If I'm wrong someone please correct me.

Whatever the case, I'm glad you're joining us Cluckin'. This has been fun and a learning experience.​

I got confused Leeps on the switcheroo! I think Cluckin took Sara's place? Welcome Cluckin and sorry to have you go Sara but no worries, your life is more important than a quilt block swap so take of what you need to and know that we'll miss you. Anyone heard from Blossom and her broken ankle condition? Must make it hard for her to get around with two casts.

I have about 4 more of my chickens to flip, that took ALOT longer than I thought!! Then I have to iron them all and top stitch and I will be finished. I pretty much plan to send mine off the weekend of the 17th..next weekend, I should be finished by then. Applique doesn't fold real well to go into baggies though, gonna have to get those bigger ones and probably send them flat like that, I'll get that worked out next week..anyway, nearly done and I think they look ok, hope ya'll will too

Man, you guys are dangerous! I just got back from my little spending spree...

erm.. I mean shopping trip to the fabric store, and of course they had a few prints that I HAD to have in addition to the Fabric for this sawap, and a few extra color choices just in case. Good thing all of their fabric is only $1.99/yd or I'd be in real trouble!!! So into to the wash with this batch, I should be cutting by next weekend! Hoooray!

Just speed scanned thru ten pages since I was last on here.
Thank you to all for your well wishes. I really appreciate all of you. I had a bit of a setback, but now have a new cast and hopefully will be able to start getting around in the house a bit more.
I guess I posted a bit confusing info; blame it on drugs! I broke both ankles on my right leg. The inner ankle has a screw from the bottom to fix it and the outer ankle has a plate and seven screws. This is the first time I've ever had a broken bone, so it's really a new experience.
Amy, thanks for getting your daughter to step in for me! I'm afraid that I could not get the blocks done within a decent time frame. Right now, I still can't stand putting weight on my foot, as the cast seems to push upward against the ankles. Hoping that lessens as the swelling goes away. All the blocks you guys have posted pictures of look awesome!

Leepsy, congrats on your good news on your biopsies.

Thanks so much, Blossom. It was a relief when the dr's office called this week to tell me the margins are clear also. I had a problem with a reaction to the topical antibiotic and still have blisters all around the incision so the dr. put me on Prednisone and it is not a pleasant drug to take. But it is getting better already. Stitches out next Wednesday.

I am so sorry you had such bad breaks and in such a bad place.

Ankles are a more difficult place to heal. I hope the healing goes well and that they give you some good rehab therapy when it is time.
