I can't find my poor BO girl Pumpkin, and there are a whole lot of feathers in the run, so I'm assuming something got her. So I'm saying bye to my poor girl. She was a BO, one of my first chicks I got last fall. She was a great layer, and a sweet though shy chicken. She was my Roo's favorite, so she had a bald back and a floppy comb, so she looked kind of silly, but at least I could always tell which one she was. Bye Buttercup, I'll miss you! This is the first chicken I have lost to a predator. Lost a duckling a few months ago to one of my own dogs, but I have to figure out what did this. There was nothing but a bunch of feathers scattered in a few piles in the run. Locking everyone inside the coop tonight, and will be making random trips down there to try to spot what did this.
