really? My cage is 9sq.ft... with Seramas needing 1.5sq.ft. I can acutally ADD one more bird!

Looking at that serama cage, it is 3 panels by 2 panels in size. Each panel is 14". Do a bit of math, and for 5 birds, each bird has 1.6 sq ft of living space. I'm not here to argue math. The idea is good and if your birds are happy and healthy in that size enclosure, then that's all that really matters and I can appreciate that.

That could be a great idea for broody cage to simply setup in the coop to!!! Simple to setup and tear down and cheap!!! Nice!!!

Good use of them. I was going to make a big C C cage with the pastic sign bottom that is used for guinea pigs.

I use things that I have around the house, I made an incubator out of a styrofoam cooler, and a brooder from a cardboard box, and their next home is going to be a large dog cage till spring when they will go outside into a coop I will make from pallets.

I've seen those types of cages online for guinea pigs and was thinking of adapting it for my rabbits.

Never thought of seramas, which I think I would have to overwinter in the basement in my climate. Yours look healthy and happy in their pen.

Thanks also for the info about kmart, i've been looking for the cheapest place to buy these.

Thats actually how I stumbled on this idea! I was looking for cheap Bunny cages!
An yeah my babies are very happy and actually gaining weight lol The rooster in the photos gained 4oz in the first 2 weeks he was back home! I know a bunch of birds going on diets come summer! lol
Right now where we are, next 2 days the high is suppose to be in the 20s! So if your climate is anything like ours it would probably be better to winter them inside!
