I just got 2 New Zealand rabbits from a breeder in SC today. They look great. In a month I will start my meat rabbit venture.

If anyone will be interested in some great tasting white meat that " tastes like chicken" let me know.

Let me know how it goes with yours. Our doe# 1 just refuses to breed to the buck. Whoever heard of that?!

A friend of ours had a similar problem. She then introduced the buck by placing his cage next to hers. After a week they tried pairing them again and it worked.

We had an awesome time today in Aiken. Everyone that was not there was missed. We had a fantastic time. Hopefully the next time we have one we can all get together again.

Will you be selling teenage or adult rabbits next year(or sooner) as breeders? I know a very nice man who wants to start raising meat rabbits for their poo, willingness to eat excess veggies, and of course the meat. He's an organic farmer and he and his wife both love critters, the bunnies would be taken care of very well. I'm not sure how many he'd want to start with..Probably just one buck and two or three does, and he wouldn't need them pedigreed.

I'll see how it goes. If I get some extra acceptable breeders, I will probably sell them.
