The post before me...you are from San Diego? Me too!!! How neat : )
Anyhow, can everyone please post what that have and what area you are in so that if we are somehow close to anyther, we can switch birds from year to year to increase diversity and prevent inbreeding?

My family is from Apple Valley, CA (middle of the Mojave desert), and I still call myself a Californian. They have chickens- mostly red sex links, americanas, a couple barred rocks, one buff orpington, and a few RIRs. I think.

Hi, I'm in San Diego too. Right now on the edge of La Mesa before it turns into Rancho San Diego on the south side of mount Helix.

Brand new to BYC and in fact do not have any girls yet. My hubby and I are in the process of buying our first house and are planning to get chicks about a year after we move in.

Is there a section here to ask general questions specific to where I am?
