CA Anyone???

Throwing out a shot in the dark here...

DBF's 20th HS reunion is this weekend in the Sacramento area. We really can't afford for him to go unless he has a place to stay. Would anyone be willing to lend a fellow chicken lover a roost for Fri (9/12) & Sat (9/13) nights?

This is the same DBF who built this (and is shown in these pics): https://www.backyardchickens.com/web/viewblog.php?id=11883

Dang, I wish I'd seen your post earlier! We live outside of Placerville, which is just off of hwy 50, east of Sacramento. It would take about 1 to 1 1/2 hours to get to our property from Sacramento, depending upon which area the reunion is in.

The only requirement would have been that he couldn't laugh at our feeble attempt to build a chicken run and duck coop!

Hey everyone! We just got back from Yosemite today and I was sad that we didn't have a chance to stop by anybody's house to visit. The family and I are always looking to visit with fellow BYCers... my 5 year old daughter says "Especially ones with horses or cows!".

We are in the Bay Area and take trips to Tahoe, Yosemite, Sacramento, etc. and we'd love to stop by and say hello if you'll have us. PM me and let me know where you are and next time we're around we'll say hello!

BTW, the invite goes the other way too... if you are ever in the East Bay Area and want to visit, shoot me a note.

Hello...

Yosemite is such a wonderful place at this time of the year huh? I went with my friends 2 summers ago but a little right on mid-summer so it was warmer. Its mid-Sep. now so I guess it could be a little cooler. Nevertheless, the place is breath-taking so it doesn't matter. Did you do most of the hikes?

As far as visits, ever go as far South as the Great San Diego? : )
