San Diego Baby!!!

We have the BEST weather right now in CA. Lol. Not too hot but plenty of sun. Next to the beach. The majority of the area here can raise chickens legally now.

Its the best!

Hi, I'm in a suburb of San Diego, Clairemont. Not far from the beach. We have had our 5 girls: 2 Black Australorps, 2 Buff Orpingtons and 1 Americauna. for over a year now. My daughter and I love it, My husband loves us, so he puts up with our hobbies. He likes the fact that at least they give us something tangible in return for their food and lodging!

Ohh ok. I have NN they are cool, lol. About the dogs if they do it again get the bird and tie it to the dogs neck for a couple days. Ive done it but it dosent always work. If it dosent work just give them a good woopin. that almost always works but use it only as a last resort. Good luck

I wasn't too sure of the NN. I hadn't seen them before and went with something I'd heard of.
Believe me I went straight to the woopin'. That dog has been trying to get back on my good side for a week now.
We've just tried to be extra vigilant when she's outside. As hot as its been though, both dogs are in most of the day until I make them go out and do dog things.
As to the heat, we've been putting ice cubes into the waterer. Boy they've been slurping it up too.

LOL you shold get some NN. they do super good in the heat. When my black lab ate some of my birds i went straight to the woopin also, lol. Since then she hasent touched a bird but my Chiuauhas don learn i can remember all the times ive wooped them. They have gotten so many of my birds. i hate them ,lol
