I see a couple of relative neighbors around here. I'm in Atwater, in Merced County.

I'm having serious issues with my laptop. I can make a cup of tea, change my shoes, or change my clothes just waiting for a page to open. I have the ad for the BCMs in my favorites but can't get anything to open.

I'm sure the ad is on either craigslist or agriseek. This is so frustrating!

Sunny San Diego here! Some of these posts are kind of old, are there any polish or silkie breeders around me?

I think there is a silkie breeder near Norco/Corona somewhere. DebiRaymond live near me and, I believe, she got her silkie from down the hill. I'm sure there's a polish breeder as well, but can't think of where I have heard of one off the top of my head. I'd check with Debi though.

Oh I wanna cry. I'm just building my flock back up and I had some beautiful WCBP. I miss them. One in particular was my little buddy.
My new roo is in new bird lockdown. LOL
Once I'm sure he's clear and decent enough type I'll get him a harem. He is actually very healthy, but missing tail feathers. He was cleared by the techs from U.C. Davis the day I bought him.They usually let me know if there are any problems with birds I'm interested in. Sure helps a lot.
For now Bling Bling is going nuts because he can hear my game rooster and his hens and he wants company bad.
I think I'm going to wait for that tail to come in before I post any pics. Then again, although he was sold as a Polish, he's soooo much bigger than my others. Thing is there were several there and he just happened to be the biggest, but so different from the wcbp that I'm used to.

I usually look on Craigslist a bit closer to home as Fresno is a bit over an hour away from me (but so is Bakersfield). I have health issues that make it pretty difficult to drive that far, but it might be worth it to try to get some good BCM's!
