CA Anyone???

He doesn't look too bad. His situation probably was stressful and so he looks a bit rough but I bet he cleans up nicely. There are lots of people who would love to have him I am sure. If I could squeeze him in I would take him in a heartbeat, but with what I have going on I think my hubby would freak if I take any more, especially a boy. Sounds like you already have a taker!

Hello! I live in Green Valley, Ca above the Santa Clarita Valley near Lake Hughes and Lake Elizabeth. I'm a transplant from a tiny village in Lowell, in South Eastern Ohio across the Ohio River from West (by God) Virginia. My husband is also a transplant from Brantford, Ontario,Canada. Just started raising chickens for eggs and would like to save a few battery chickens from a horrible existence. If anyone could help me or point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Thanks!

She wants to do a home inspection, follow up visits and sponsor the bird for $25/month. My guy is not interested in a rescue roo with open ended strings attached. Anyone else interested, feel free to contact the poster.

Thank you , I did look into this one and sent an email... I believe this is the one who requires the adopter to be a vegan which I am not. I'm not interested in someone monitoring what I eat or coming to my home to "inspect". I did that with a cat I PAID $125.00 to "adopt" I was harassed after I brought the kitty home so I finally told them where to stick it. All I'm doing is trying to help an animal have a better life....I know some people are twisted but, c'mon! Vegan? I could probably adopt a child easier! LOL

Anyway I did send an email to inquire about chicken adoptions... we'll see what happens.

Wait I'm getting lost with who wants what, the adoption agency that has the bird? Or one that he would go to? Or the person that has him?

The OP should state what's going on.

There are too many different people saying different things... lol

I'm in Stockton, California in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley. I HAVE 4 CHICKENS THAT I HAVE TO LET GO IMMEDIATELY! THIS IS A SAD DAY FOR ME AS THEY ARE WONDERFUL AND FUN TO HAVE. IS THERE ANYBODY OUT THERE THAT WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THEM FOR FREE? I WOULD EVEN BE WILLING TO DRIVE A LITTLE DISTANCE AS LONG AS I FEEL THEY ARE GOING TO A GOOD HOME. ANYBODY??? PLEASE CONTACT ME. Thanks!!!
