He doesn't look too bad. His situation probably was stressful and so he looks a bit rough but I bet he cleans up nicely. There are lots of people who would love to have him I am sure. If I could squeeze him in I would take him in a heartbeat, but with what I have going on I think my hubby would freak if I take any more, especially a boy. Sounds like you already have a taker!

Hello! I live in Green Valley, Ca above the Santa Clarita Valley near Lake Hughes and Lake Elizabeth. I'm a transplant from a tiny village in Lowell, in South Eastern Ohio across the Ohio River from West (by God) Virginia. My husband is also a transplant from Brantford, Ontario,Canada. Just started raising chickens for eggs and would like to save a few battery chickens from a horrible existence. If anyone could help me or point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Try Animal Acres. They have tons of rescued chickens and are able to rescue more if their girls are adopted out. www.animalacres.org

I'm in Stockton, California in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley. I HAVE 4 CHICKENS THAT I HAVE TO LET GO IMMEDIATELY! THIS IS A SAD DAY FOR ME AS THEY ARE WONDERFUL AND FUN TO HAVE.
