That is a bummer, but thanks for replying. Wow, you photograph weddings. That must make it hard to do anything on the weekends in the summer. I could see why fall would be better for you.

I'll definitely keep you in the loop for anything that develops for fall!

Thanks for replying, though. Maybe the fall will work better for you. We'll try to give more notice next time.

We'll probably have a small gathering, but it will be fun anyway. I'm bringing bocce. They have horseshoe pits there, too. Anyone have those?

OMG We would love to come but will have to see how daughter feels, she's having reconstructive ankle surgery July 27th. We have 2 lovely little hens that were her her FFA project but she graduated this year so now they are a much loved part of the family out in the backyard here in lovely Suisun City. We would love to meet other chicken folks!

Keep us posted! We can make sure to be at one end of the park if she wanted to come, so getting to the fun would be easier for her. Let us know how it goes.

Hi Left-Coasters! I'm a little late with my nightly song and dance, so no song, no dance. I know, I know, you'll miss it. Maybe tomorrow. Stay tuned.

But now that I've got your attention, don't forget to check your calendars.

The Bay Area Chickenstock is just 9 days away. Planes, trains, and automobiles are all moving toward Walnut Creek. Well, okay, maybe not planes. (Although, if you have private plane, you could fly into Buchanan Field in Concord...) Whatever method you use, you have to get there.

I think I am going to make a fabulous Israeli Couscous Salad. And I will only give you the recipe if you come! That's a bold-faced bribe. Did it work?

I'd love to hear from you!

Please COME!
