Was able to obtain over 50 of these birds throughout this year. A few of the cockerels have come out with gold leakage, in saddle as well as hackle; as attached. Does this mean that they carry gold somewhere in their line? And is this a sign to stay away from their lines if trying to get toward SoP?

That means they are heterozygous for gold which should be easy to breed out.
And yeah, stay away from them if you want to breed to the SOP. If they can’t eliminate such an easy to fix issue, they probably have other problems.

Some of the pullets have turned out pretty nice. Would it be okay to put another breeders rooster over them that doesn’t have this problem? Or just avoid it?

If you really think they are otherwise good you could always just choose the cockerels without yellowing. If you are interested in gold laced pullets you can use the yellow necked ones, but they will produce more yellow necked boys as well.
