Cackleberry Cottage~~comes to life!

Lucky you, your guys showed up! Mine might make it tomorrow if it dries up!?
The guy who is clearing and leveling the side yard came today and pretty much did the job! Nice to have someone work for a change.
I started a thread on the rabbit cage i am building. I bet it will be finished before those guys finish the goat shed!
You are getting pretty handy there WW.

Well I guess I will be finishing the coop myself. The guys have turned their attention to our roofs as my husband wants those done ASAP. The shingles arrive tomorrow and we are hoping they get the roofs done by the weekend. The guy that was in the hospital a couple weeks ago still isn't doing well so I don't know how much longer he will be able to work. The other one says he has a bad knee and constantly has to take his kids places. My husband called him today and told him to get over here, which he finally did.

I will put up the trim on the inside of the windows and hopefully install the last window and get them painted and the coop will be officially done I suppose. What an ordeal.

I am feeling your pain. Our guys showed yesterday just long enough to install our 2 windows in the goat shed and left. I guess today was too cold and windy for them but i was outside and worked on the bunny cage as well. Whimps! So glad you can finish up. They need a pay cut!

WW, I hope those guys are better at getting your roof work done than they have been about getting your coop finished. You're getting so close!

Me too! We could get snow any time now and I do not need more issues because they didn't get the roof done. I feel bad for the sick one as he is making an effort, but truly isn't well.

But this too shall pass as I will finish up the coop hopefully today and my husband will install the last window over the weekend. Then on to fun stuff like decorating!!!!

The other one, I fear, is just one of those people where his job gets in the way of his life. He has some issues at home, but don't we all? I always worked full time while my 4 girls were growing up, but somehow I managed to not take off work constantly. We planned around our work schedules etc.
He always has something he has to do with his kids that prevents him from working. They text him and he runs home. They want to go shopping, he doesn't come at all etc. He leaves early to pick up furniture at the thrift store and so on. I hate to say it, but once this is all done, I don't think my husband will be asking them to do any more work for us. Which is a shame because the work they do get done is very nice. I am happy with that. I just feel I should not have to hunt them down each day and beg them to come. I Am looking forward to seeing more pictures!
