Best of luck. I have 1.64 acres, with a coop in the heavy woods- yet all the neighbors know when an egg is laid.
i do have a plan. I'm not keeping them. A friend (who has a ton of farm space) told me to buy the eggs online and hatch them because he doesnt have an incubator and i was going to give them to him to get his farm going. i'm meeting him in two weeks and the chicks will go. i just need them to stay quiet these next two weeks, but i was never planning on keeping them. the only birds i have are 3 button quail and they dont make noise at all and I've had them for a year with no complaints.
