Oscar also liked to play peek-a-boo behind his favorite toy: a simple rope knot.

This is Sassy Ann. Given to me by owners who called her Andy because they swore she was a male. They owned her for several years and declared she acted like a male. Sassy Ann was a hybrid Sun Conure who laid an egg for me within six months. Despite the sudden 'sex change' :p was an absolute joy to have.

Is this a lilac crown Amazon? I’ve met one, who by the way loved me by first sight. I regret not bringing him/her home.
Yes, he's a Lilac. One of the nicest Amazon parrots I've owned. Was not temperamental and very honest. He didn't act all lovey dovey then bite the the snot out of you. He loved human babies and would coo and whisper silly noises to little humans.

This is Louise, an ancient Blue Front Amazon that needed a bit of rehabbing when she arrived. Don't let that cute pose fool you, she was one of the most vicious Amazon parrots I've owned. She was very trainable but would jump and bite like a rooster. Forget food rewards as she would bite the hand that fed her. She loved to lure people in with her cute poses then bite the blood out of you.
