[First To Hatch]

Well I've been thinking about cage ideas (quail) well I know I cant build anything lol, those rabbit hutches at the feed store are like 150$, I was thinking of buying this thing https://www.gqfmfg.com/store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idProduct=25#

but then you'd need to buy the watering system and stuff. I'd be looking at like 700$ when all is said and done.

I'dbuy those WAY before I'd buy those other two, smaller cages, i'd rather have them in bigger cages but that's me. I mean in the smaller ones if you had 3 hens and one roo and they could fit in there and not be stressed i tmight be okay but yep i like the ones on CL! WOW!!! GIMMIE!! LOL!

how many can you comfortably fit in the 30 x 16 x 18 cages and how many could you fit in the 48 x 24 x 25 cages? I used to remember how to figure it out but I don't anymore lol...

WOW!! Those cages are a steal!! I wish I lived close. You could each quail technically needs about 28 square inches... Figure a max of 17 in the first cage and a max of about 40 in the second cage...

17 in each cage, really? wow thats alot lol i figured 8-12 in each one tho so if i bought it it would be like 36 in one group of cages 72 if i bought the 2 small ones but what if i bought the big 1s too and put sumthin else in em hmmmmm

I'm going to be keeping 5 quail per 2 x 2 pens, i dont go "by the book" i go by what I see they do well in without being squished.

Like I said, technically you could keep that many, but not recommended
