Cake mix?

Found a couple of cake mixes got lost in a move they have weavels , can i throw the powder in run and let them pick at it?

bake them and let them eat it, my flock loves cake...

Powdered flour is going to be very difficult for them to eat.

Second vote for baking it up and serving it as cooked weevil cake

By the way, chocolate is very bad for most mammals. I have no idea how birds react to it, but I wouldn't feed chocolate to my poultry without seeing a genuine academic study that proves chocolate is safe for them.

I own dogs and i know chocolate is a big NO-NO, but chickens? Is the outcome the same , Have you "cake feeders" done any choco-cake?

I couldn't stomach the thought of cooking weevils in my oven. I'd just toss the cake mixes in the trash - or pour the powder along with the weevils into the compost pile.
